Paid $1200 for a cat, then they asked for another $1200 for insurance

I signed a purchase agreement with Munchkin Cat Cattery for a cat, and I paid the $1200. When it was time for them to deliver the cat, they contacted me and said I needed to pay another $1200 for something called cat travel insurance. That extra charge was not in our contract at all.

I told them I wasn't paying that and asked for a refund of my $1200 instead. They refused to give me my money back. I've tried contacting them through their phone, email, and their website munchkincatcattery.com, but I'm not getting anywhere. I'm out the full $1200.
