Signed up for a free trial, then my info ended up on the dark web

I signed up for a free 15-day trial with My Heritage. I thought there might be a monthly fee after, but I was going to cancel before that. When the 15 days were up, they tried to charge my card. My bank thankfully denied it, but I still had to cancel the whole card because of it.

Later that same day, I got an alert. It said my personal information had been found exposed on the dark web. And it came from My Heritage. So not only did they try to charge me, but my info got out there because of them. This whole thing has been a huge hassle.
