Got a weird voicemail from "National Processing" about a complaint

I got this strange voicemail. The caller had an Indian accent and said it was from "national processing." The message was intended for my relative.

They said they were following up about a complaint they received from an office. They told me to call 866-804-1980 and gave a case number, 549260. They said documents were being prepared and someone would need to sign for them. They even said if they couldn't reach us at home, they'd try a verified place of employment.

To stop further action, they said to contact the "Bejuring Agency" immediately at that same number, 866-804-1980. The whole thing felt off. We never filed any complaint. It just seems like a phishing attempt to scare us into calling.

Got a weird voicemail from National Processing about a complaint

I got a voicemail on March 16th from a guy who said he was Mike with National Processing. The number was 1(503) 212-6403. He was asking for a relative of mine by name.

The message said they were following up on a complaint with a case number 549260. He said documents were being prepared for delivery and they’d try to reach my relative at work if they couldn’t get them at home. To stop any action, he said to call 866-804-2040 immediately. The whole thing felt off. I never signed up for anything with them and the message just seemed strange.

Got a weird message from National Processing about a complaint I never filed

I got this message from the number (801) 346-4096. It said, "Hello, this message is intended to ***** ** ** **********. This is National Processing, following up in regards to a complaint that we have received in our office, with a reference case number 560912. Again, it's 560-912. If this is not you, please disregard this message."

They said documents are being prepared and I'd have to sign for them. They said they'd try to reach me at my job if they can't reach me at home. They told me to contact some agency immediately at 866-804-3398. The message said the call was logged as proof of notifying me.

It didn't make any sense. I never filed any complaint. The same call was made to two other people in my family, which felt really off.
