Got a suspicious job offer email and call, asked for my ID and selfie

I got emails from someone named [email protected] saying they were from HR at Nexfold Transit. The website is NexfoldTransport.com. Right after the emails, I got a call about a job. The man didn't have a clear accent I could place, but his microphone quality was really bad, so it was hard to tell.

He talked about a package quality inspector position. He said the job was receiving packages, inspecting them, and then repackaging them to ship out. He had me fill out a form online. Then he wanted me to upload a picture of the front and back of my driver's license. He also wanted a selfie of me holding my ID.

The whole thing felt off. I didn't send any money, but being asked for my ID and a selfie like that right away didn't make sense for a job offer. I haven't heard back since, and now I'm just worried about where my personal information went.
