Work from home job turned out to be a scam with packages
I took a work-from-home job with a company called Packetail. I thought it was real because I found it through a temp staffing agency. The job was receiving packages, checking what was inside, taking photos, uploading them to a portal, then shipping them out again with new FedEx labels.
The whole thing looked very real. They had official looking paperwork and contact info and corporate names. It all seemed legit. But before I knew it I gave them my personal info and background details. I figured out pretty quick it was a scam though so I didn't waste too much time or work for free. The phone number they used was (213) 510-0886 and the website was unity-crm.com and the email was [email protected]. I lost about 35 dollars.
