Charged $49.95 a month after a $1.95 test and no refund

I paid $1.95 for one test back in January. I’ve been sick for the past few months so I didn’t really notice until now. They’ve been charging me $49.95 every month since then. I contacted them and they refuse to refund me. Their website is Personality.co and their email is [email protected]. Their address is in Abbottstown, PA. I lost about $250 total.

Charged for a subscription I never agreed to

I signed up on Personality.co and paid $1.95 to see my personality test results. There was nothing clear during signup saying this would put me in a monthly subscription for $49.95. I never got a confirmation email or saw any clear terms about being billed over and over.

Then I found out they charged me $49.95 every month for three months. That's $149.85 total, and I never agreed to any of it. As soon as I saw the charges, I cancelled the subscription. I contacted the company to ask for a full refund, but nothing has been fixed.

The whole signup felt misleading. It seems like they hid the subscription part on purpose.
