Got mail about a data breach telling me to give my info to a website

I got something in the mail about the Conduent data breach. It was telling me to go sign up for identity protection at this website, privacysolutionsid.com.

The letter wanted me to put in all my information. My name, my address, my phone number, my email. Even my Social Security Number. It just felt off to me, getting this out of the blue and being told to hand over my SSN to some website I've never heard of.

The email on it was [email protected]. I didn't give them anything, but it was still unsettling to get.

Got a text about free credit monitoring after a security breach

I got a text message saying I was eligible for free credit monitoring because of a security breach. The text had a link to a website called www.privacysolutionsid.com. It looked official, like it was from a company offering to help.

I didn't give them any money or my Social Security number, but the whole thing felt off. I never signed up for anything from them. Getting a random text like that is worrying. It seems like they're just pretending to offer help to get people's information.

Got a letter in the mail saying my data was compromised

I got a letter in the mail from this company, Privacy Solutions ID. They said my data was compromised. They wanted me to sign up for some complimentary identity monitoring. It felt off. I looked them up and saw they're connected to a bunch of scam reports. The letter had their phone number and a PO box in Georgia. I didn't call or sign up for anything. Just threw it away. It's unsettling to get something like that out of the blue.
