Got a scary legal call about my mother who passed away years ago

I received a phone call and a voicemail asking for my mother. She passed away 11 years ago. The message was really unsettling.

The person said her name was Elena and she was calling from "the processors office" about a legal matter and a case number. She said it was about considering legal action and a possible lawsuit. She told me I had to call 888-247-5906 immediately because it was time-sensitive, and that if I didn't respond they'd proceed without me.

It felt completely off. They were trying to contact my deceased mother about some legal file. The whole thing just didn't make sense and was upsetting to listen to.
