Phone call saying I won Publisher's Clearing House but needed to pay a fee

Someone called me from (516) 457-2074 and said I won the Publisher's Clearing House fourth place prize. They told me it was $4.8 million, a Mercedes, and $6,500 for life. I kind of played along because I knew it sounded off.

Then they put a supervisor on the phone who said I had to pay a $500 "government activation fee" first to get the money. I asked them what country required that fee and they got nasty and abusive and just hung up on me. The address they gave was Lindhurst, NY. No money lost but it was a waste of time.
