Ordered a bowl, got a fake shipping notice and a hidden subscription charge

I ordered a Lick and Roll Bowl from the PUPA website, pupapaws.com. The total was $14.99. Five days went by and it still hadn't shipped, so I emailed their support to cancel and get a refund. They wrote back saying my order already shipped and couldn't be canceled.

But the tracking number never updated. Four days after they said it shipped, it still showed no carrier had even received the package. So it definitely hadn't shipped when I asked to cancel.

Then I found out they were going to charge me another $39.99 for some subscription I never signed up for. I never agreed to that. I've tried emailing them again about all this and they just won't reply.
