Got a voicemail about an RCI getaway deal that seems fake
I got a voicemail from 1(689) 324-0041 saying they'd give me $1600 back for every "get away week" I bought for $399. They said it was part of my RCI membership. I called back and they put me through to a guy named Christian Broughton. He explained the whole program to me.
I asked him to send me the information so I could look it over first. I gave him my email and said I'd call him back at his number, 754-288-0737. He said he'd send it, but I never got any email. Something felt off, so I googled it to see if it was legit before I even called RCI. Everything I found basically said it was too good to be true.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with RCI about vacation weeks
I just got a call from someone saying they are with RCI. They told me I have six vacation weeks that aren't connected to my Worldmark points. They said for a fee of $499.00, they would guarantee $1800 per week. That would add up to over ten thousand dollars.
I hung up as soon as she mentioned the fee. I know that company would never call me to try something like this. The call came from (208) 291-4579. It felt like a scam right away.
