In February 2015 we paid our bill for Sunday paper only for a period of 6 months after our current agreement ended. We have had calls demanding our late payment on the average of once a week since that time. My wife and I have sent copies of the bank cashed check to them , and I also gave the Torrington office a copy by hand one day. None of this works!!! One woman by the name of Donna, Who works for the paper, helps us out and the calls stopped for a week or two. We are tired of this as we have never missed a payment on anything! Donna is the only reason I have not got legal help. This is just a waste of time and effort. I will not reorder this paper again..

Review: I searched Internet for phone number to get a subscription to the paper. I also tried calling direct to the paper none of the options were for new subscriptions. I went directly to the paper at the [redacted] address. They could only give me a different number to call; ###-###-####. To speak with Donna. I called and had to leave a message. Donna called back within 2hours.

First she told me it was 22.75 a week for the paper. Asked her if that was just the cost of the paper. She said it was. I told her I could buy it at a stand for less than 7.00 a week. Then she told me a deal for 1.00 a day. 13.00 a week. Then she said. 13.00 for 13 weeks. I hung up the amounts didn't make any sense. She was confusing me and herself.

I just want to get a subscription for home delivery. I obviously need help.Desired Settlement: Someone to order from. That's not confused.

Review: I subscribed to the Litchfield County Times newspaper in October of 2013. After not receiving any newspapers I sent an email December 12. After no reply I called [redacted] on 1/27/14 and spoke with "[redacted]" and asked for total refund of my payment ($37.00). I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to process. I called again 2/26/14 and spoke with "[redacted]", and was again told the refund would take 4-6 weeks to process.I called again 3/14/14 and spoke with [redacted]", and was told that it seemed that a partial payment of $28.46 had been authorized but that they were looking into sending full payment of $37. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was connected to "[redacted]". She said that she would have someone call me with resolution.I received no phone call.I called again 3/26 and spoke with "[redacted]" (not sure if spelled correctly) I asked for [redacted] to call me back.After still no resolution, I called 3/26/14, spoke with "[redacted]", and asked him to please tell [redacted] that if I could not at least have the courtesy of a phone call by 3/28 that I would be filing a complaint with Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: I would like my $37.00 refund to be sent via check to the address on file.

Review: I cancelled my paper on 9/14/15. I am due a refund of $75.55. I was told the refund to my debit card would take 4-6 weeks to process. The refund was "approved" on 10/29/15. On 11/9/15 Jessica said the refund would be completed 7-10 days after approval. Today is day 14 and no refund. Today Jessica said that it could take another 4-6 weeks for the refund to appear. I have placed more than 6 phone calls to this business regarding this refund. I am at witt's end with trying to get my refund. I worked at a financial institution doing debit card processing and I know a refund could be completed in one week or less.Desired Settlement: Immediate Refund to my Debit card

Review: After many months of trying to address delivery issues, I canceled my subscription in mid March. After many calls and even an email, I have received nothing after three months. I had subscribed for many years prior without any problems....emails are never replied to.Desired Settlement: Send me my refund if you can find a human to talk to. The 800 number is a USA site for many business's - local office has no subscription number and emails are ignored.
