Got a fake job email asking for my ID and social security number

I got this email about a "shipper handler" job. It said I'd work from home, get packages, check them, and ship them back. The email was from someone named Khaila Margot in the Shipping Department. She said she left me a voicemail about this at-home "Shipping Handler" job. I did get a call, but there was no voicemail.

I called the number back. The woman, Khaila, had an Indian accent. We did an interview for the job. After that, she sent me an email with a link to an application. She wanted a copy of my driver's license and a proof of residence. She already has my personal email and my phone number. Because of the W2 info she asked for, she also has my home address and my social security number. This whole thing felt off.

Got a fake job offer after applying for a job on Indeed

I applied for an inspection job at Fido on Indeed. Then about a month later, I got a message from Fido saying they had a remote shipping handler position and a warehouse position for me, because the job I applied for was already filled. They told me to fill out a Google form and said someone would contact me.

So I filled it out and sent all my information. Someone did contact me, from a guy named Jack Wilson at Riverway USA. But after I sent everything in, they just ignored me. I never heard back from them at all. The whole thing felt off.
