Someone claiming to be from the Roanoke Times keeps calling about money I already paid

I keep getting these phone calls from someone who says they're with the Roanoke Times. They tell me I owe them money and want me to pay with a credit card over the phone.

I called the Roanoke Times myself to check. They told me my payment for this month was already received. So I don't owe anything. But these calls keep coming. I don't know who this person really is but they are not from the paper.
