Paid $2500 for a purebred Ragdoll kitten that turned out to be a mixed breed

I drove all the way from Grand Junction to Castle Rock to adopt the last Ragdoll kitten from this breeder, Chelsea Humble. She charged $2500 for the kitten, which we paid, and then we went home with it.

Her website, Rocky Mountain Rags, used to say her cats were TICA registered. After we bought the kitten, I saw all that information has been removed from the site. Our kitten didn't act like a full breed Ragdoll normally does. We had a DNA test done with Wisdom Panel and the result came back as only 60% ragdoll and 40% mixed breed.

You don't pay $2500 for a mixed breed cat. In my opinion, Ms. Humble is running a scam and she needs to change her website advertising.
