Roomies.com full of fake landlords asking for my cell phone

I have been using roomies.com to try and find a place and it is just full of scams. Almost every single person I contacted turned out to be fake. They call themselves landlords or owners of the apartments, even some renters on the lease.

Right away they ask for my cell phone number. I reported a few of them and it turned out to be true, they were all fake people. It is a total waste of time and money spending anything on this site. I didn't lose any money but I lost a lot of time.
