Someone called pretending to be a sergeant about missed jury duty
Then he said I could buy a bond to show I was willing to follow through while the court investigated. When I asked for proof of who he was, he put another guy on the phone who said he was Cpt. David Daniels. This captain said he'd call me from a non-emergency line to prove it. I told him to do it.
He went quiet. I asked when he was going to call and then he started making threatening comments. I hung up. They gave me two citation numbers: 821-cv-7142 and 822-cv-1112. The whole thing felt off from the start.
