Applied for an internship and got a weird Zoom webinar instead

I applied for an internship and got a text from "Emma" plus an email that was in my spam folder. They wanted me to set up a Zoom meeting with the hiring director for 11 am the next day. No other options were given, and they said it was a 10-minute listen-in webinar, not an interview.

Cameron Meeks showed up and seemed really charismatic, but the whole thing sounded like those reps you see at events that collect your info for future sales. He said some of their biggest clients were Doctors Without Borders, Verizon, and Spectrum. The way he described the "boots on the ground" marketing and said the position was on-site but they don't have a listed address on their website or anywhere else. That confirms it's probably just an info booth setup.

I looked up Cameron and saw he was with Blue Wave Events, which has a lot of negative reviews. Seems like he is using their playbook to attract young people who don't know how to spot these scam jobs.
