Called about a survey and switched my utility without asking

Someone called from this number (209) 312-8833 saying they were from statewise energy and just wanted to take a survey. I thought it was no big deal so I answered their questions. They got my PGE account info somehow.

Next thing I know they started an account under my name and address for statewise energy without me saying yes to anything. They told me I would get a $50 payment to my email and that my rates would go down. I never agreed to switch from PGE to them.

This feels extremely predatory and misleading. I did not consent to any of this. Their website is Www.statewiseenergy.com and they listed an address in San Juan Bautista, CA.
