I got this email saying I bought a coffee maker. It had an order number, Q32-920173. I never bought any coffee maker. The email looked like it was from Stripe, and it listed an address in San Jose, California. It also had a phone number, (804) 738-3584.
The whole thing felt off. I didn't click anything or lose any money, but it's worrying to get an email like that for a purchase I didn't make. I don't know why I got it.

Got an email from Stripe about a coffee maker I never bought.
I got an email that looked like it was from Stripe. It said I sent a payment for a coffee maker, for $523.28. It told me to call a number, 845-712-9762, within 12 hours if I had questions.
I definitely did not buy any coffee maker. I didn't call the number. The email came from [email protected] and had an address in San Jose listed. The whole thing felt off. I never made that payment.
