Got an email saying my card was declined for charges I never made.

I got this email from a company called TalkwithLead, from TalkwithLead.com. They said my Visa or Mastercard was declined for January, February, and March of 2026. They want me to pay $29 to cancel an account and they want my credit card info.

I've never heard of this company. I never used any service from them. I looked it up online and everyone is saying it's a total scam.

I wrote back to their email, [email protected], and told them I'm reporting them to the BBB. Their address says Mississauga, ON in Canada. I don't know if anyone can even do anything about them.

Got a text and email about a debt I don't owe

I got a text and an email from this company Talkwithlead.com. They said I have a missed payment that's past due. They said it's going to be sent to collections if I don't pay right away.

The email and text had login information for an account. I never created any account with them. I don't know what this payment is for. The whole thing feels off.

Their phone number is (415) 300-2949 and the email is [email protected]. I never signed up for anything from them.
