Got a weird call about my taxes from someone claiming to be a government division.

I just got a call from someone named Ariana Bellemi. She said she was calling from the Eligibility Support and Review Division at the "Tax Resolution Assistance Center." She told me my account is under something called an active confirmation review and that I have an opportunity to verify my standing while this evaluation period is open.

The whole thing felt off. She left a callback number, 888-919-9743. I looked up the address she gave, which is in Santa Clara, CA. I never signed up for any tax resolution assistance. I don't owe any money and I didn't lose any, but getting a call like this out of the blue is really unsettling. It just doesn't make sense.
