Got a weird voicemail about my taxes from a verification line
He said my account came up in a review and some filing or balance items might need confirmation. He said when accounts show up at this stage they give a direct way to verify the status before the review closes. He said their office has a proprietary verification line with no wait so you can connect immediately.
He told me to call back today at (888) 549-1425. He repeated the number. He said if I got the message in error, to call back and press three to be removed. The whole thing felt off. I never signed up for anything from them.
