Got a weird text about a file being transferred, asking me to log in

I got this text message out of nowhere. It says my file has been transferred to their office for active handling. It told me to log into a portal at TheMLSGroup.com to review my options and confirm my position.

The link they sent is https://portal.the-mls-group.com/. The reference number is 1474862. It was signed by someone named Renee M. Callahan from the Resolution Team. At the bottom it says to text "0" to opt out.

Then I got another text later. This one says they've contacted me repeatedly and haven't received confirmation. It says to respond today to retain control over the outcome. That one was from a Natalie R. Warren, also on the Resolution Team.

I never signed up for anything with The MLS Group. I don't have a file with them. It felt off, so I didn't click the link. I just wanted to report this text because it seems like a phishing attempt. The number it came from is (314) 343-1170.
