Ordered something that never came, then got signed up for charges

I bought something from an email that was [email protected]. I never got what I ordered. Then I found out they put me in some subscription plan without me knowing, which is illegal. They tried to take money out of my account over and over. They even changed the charge amount to try and get it to go through.

Luckily the card I used was my old debit card so the charges got declined, but I can still see them trying. I tried contacting the merchant but it’s useless. They did reply once and said they’d refund my money for the purchase, but that never happened. The total was $39.98. Nothing ever came and the refund never came either.
