Getting fake legal letters about the Department of Justice
The message says they're reaching out for the fifth time since last year and want me to confirm I got their previous letters. But I've never had any prior correspondence with them. It's a complete surprise. The contact number they give is (360) 692-6115 and an address in Toronto, ON, Canada. I'm in the United States.
This feels like a phishing attempt. They're using official-sounding titles to try and get a response, but it doesn't make any sense. I haven't lost any money, but the whole thing is unsettling.
