Trademark Advisers took my money and made up fake USPTO fees

I paid $3,448.13 to Trademark Advisers through their website trademarkadvisers.com. They said they were a licensed trademark law firm but they are not. The address is 1055 Wilshire Blvd Suite 121 in Los Angeles. The guy I dealt with was Jason Walker, email was [email protected].

They kept making up fees that never existed. In January 2026 they asked for $1,300 for a fake Office Action response but USPTO records show no Office Action was ever issued. Then they wanted another $600 for a Statement of Use fee on a use-based application that doesn't even need that. When I showed them the USPTO records the guy admitted it was a mistake in writing.

The payments go to something called Impactful Insights LLC so you can't even dispute it. The other person involved is Wayne Robson and I found out he uses that same alias in another trademark scam targeting small business owners. I already filed complaints with the FTC, FBI IC3, USPTO, and California AG but nothing has happened yet.
