Ordered a snowmobile trailer and now they want more money for insurance

I was looking for a motorcycle trailer and found a snow Pro snowmobile trailer that would work. It was at Trailer Barn LLC in Washington. I spoke to a guy named James. The trailer was $2,500 and the delivery fee was $540. The delivery company was called Apex Freight flows.com out of Virginia.

About 3 days later Apex got a hold of me and said I needed to send them $1,125 for insurance for the trailer that was refundable when delivered. I told them I couldn't afford it only had 800 so they made that happen. Then today Apex told me the trailer was impounded by the state of Utah and needed to pay. I already lost $3,040 on this.

Said trailer was in stock but address was just a house

I called about a trailer from their website trailerbarnllc.com. The guy said it was in stock and the website was accurate, called it a "hot item." He said I could put a deposit down over the phone to hold it for me.

So I went to the address they had listed in Vancouver, WA 98682. It was just a regular house. Not a dealership or anything. I called them back and they just hung up on me.
