Got a call about my prescription, ended up losing over $900
I got a call after my doctor sent in a prescription for a GLP-1 medication. The person said, "Hey, I see that you recently have a prescription for GLP-1," and told me I could get a discount if I committed to a plan. Since my doctor had just called it in, I thought it was part of the program. It wasn't.
They somehow knew about my new prescription and got $909 from my debit account for a six-month commitment. I never got any medication. I tried calling their customer service number and no one ever called back.
I had to cancel my debit card and report the whole thing to my bank as fraud.
