Charged twice for shoes I only ordered once

I tried to buy some shoes, they had a great price for $34.99. But then they charged me $44.98 from one site and then another $44.98 from a different site. I didn't order from two places. I had to call my bank and put a stop payment on both charges. Still not sure what happened or who the company even is.
