Ordered bread bags as a gift, never arrived, and now the tracking looks fake
I ordered some bread bags as a gift back on February 26th. On February 12th I got an email saying they were on the way. I checked with the person I gifted them to a bunch of times and the items never showed up.
I’ve asked for a refund by email a lot and they just kept making excuses. Their ads said these were supposed to be handmade in France. Yesterday I sent another refund request and they said they can’t refund because the items shipped, and they sent a tracking link. But when I looked at the original tracking link, it said the shipment was coming from China. I wrote back right away saying that was false advertising—I don’t want a product from China—and I asked for the refund again. Then I called my bank to dispute the charge.
Now when I click on the link they just sent me, it doesn’t show it’s coming from China anymore. I’m pretty sure it’s a fake tracking link. My bank is looking into it.
