Got a text about unpaid tickets and my license being taken

I got a text message. It said under the Tennessee department of safety code TCA 55-12114 I had unpaid tickets and they were taking my license. The text came from the phone number 1(615) 519-7667. It said it was from Verizon with an address in Belle Valley, Ohio. I didn't sign up for anything from them. It felt like a phishing attempt to get my information. I didn't lose any money but the message was unwanted and concerning.

Got a call saying I won a free safety button system

I tried to phone Verizon. Someone told me I'd won a safety button system for free. Then I got shuffled around to different people. They took lots of my information. It all felt off. I never got the system and nothing made sense after that.
