Lost $2800 to a fake job scam from verse-crm.com

I got a job offer from verse-crm.com for a Fulfillment Assistant position. My curator was supposed to be someone named Alexis Evans. They sent me an email from [email protected] saying I needed to do payroll enrollment.

The email said I'd hear from the payroll department about taxes and everything. They even gave a phone number for the curator, (213) 262-0190, for urgent matters. It all looked official, with a congratulations and welcome aboard.

I confirmed the email like they asked. Next thing I know, I’m out $2800. The whole thing was a scam. I never got any real job, just a huge loss.
