Got a scary call and text about IRS taxes I don't owe.

I got this message from the number (607) 294-9001. It was a text with a voice message link. The person said her name was Violet Thomas calling from the Taxpayer Assistance Team. She said my case hit a critical deadline and my account was qualified for some offer. She said under "currently not collectible" I might owe less than the IRS says. She said they could move to liens or garnishments and to call back right away.

They call using different names and business names but it's always the same thing about the IRS. I know that's a lie. I don't owe any taxes or the IRS anything. I called the real IRS office myself to check. This is just a scam message trying to scare me. The number is 607-294-9001. They sent a link to listen to the full message, too. It felt really off.
