Ordered death certificates online and the company disappeared

I ordered my husband's death certificates from a place I found online. I didn't know it was a scam when I placed the order. It was for $80.

After I ordered, I could never get back ahold of them. They won't answer emails or the phone. It's been almost two months now with nothing.

I finally called our state's vital statistics office to check. They said they never heard of this place. They have no information that this company ever ordered any certificates for me. The whole thing just vanished.
