I purchased tickets for my grandchildren Nov- Nov 28, 2016. I purchased travel insurance at that time incase there were unforeseen problems. A few days after I purchased the tickets, my grandson told me he could not miss any school days as he is trying to graduate in 2017. At that point, I cancelled the flight. I had to pay $175, in addition to the cost of the tickets. I was told I would have a $credit to use within a year (not including taxes) Conf #***, and I had to go through Spirit Airlines to use credit.
I booked a flight for my grandchildren Dec - Jan 3, tonight and tried to apply the credit - the amount that came up was $- WHAT THE H...LL!!! That is not the amount that I was quotedSo I called Spirit Air customer service and a girl who had a very bad accent told me that, that is what I was allowed - I asked for the Manager - insisted on speaking with the Manager, but only got a supervisor who had the same voice as the customer service agent. I told her that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak with her Manager. Finally *** #*** came on the line and was no help at all - said this was Spirit Air policy and I needed to call JustFly. I told her that JustFly sells for Spirit Air and that they should honor communication that I previously received.
Since my phone call, I have found numerous complaints regarding Spirit Airlines.

I booked a flight to Thailand in Sept 2016, flying April Due to a family emergency I had to cancel this flightI paid for this ticket, and after fees, charges, airline costs, I am told that I will receive just over in my refundI am years old, and had not explicitly received any information indicating that this was the cancellation policyI feel extremely scammed, and will never use this site again
